Monday mornings come along as regular as clockwork!

Had a pretty calm weekend in comparison to last week though allowing the cats out of the house is more trouble than its worth. She got stuck on the neighbours roof for a total of 7 hours this weekend! I was not amused :( Though at least they now let me sleep.

Today I asked a group of students to create the space around an object on a piece of paper by tearing up newspaper. I was amazed at how difficult they found it to leave a great big blank space in the centre of a piece of work. The other difficulty they encountered was how long it was taking them to make decisions due to being precious about their work.
Once i asked the to draw in to the vacant space they stuggled even more why???????
